Providing decision-making assessment tools and policy analysis for local leaders to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic. Available to U.S. and international decision makers.

About Our Project:

Local decision makers need a clear decision-making framework to help them reduce the impact of the pandemic in their communities. This helpful guide provides leaders with actionable steps and tools to make data-driven decisions to address the COVID-19 pandemic. The COVID Local site provides free resources for leaders including step-by-step assessment tools, metrics for phased reopening, and visualizations that illustrate the effectiveness of COVID-19 response policies. COVID Local was built by teams of disease outbreak and emergency response experts from four organizations: the Global Biological Policy and Programs team at the Nuclear Threat Initiative (NTI), the Center for Global Development, the Georgetown University Center for Global Health Science and Security, and Talus Analytics.
